About
Lauren Bush is a Canadian-born, London-based vocalist known for her magnetic stage presence and her ability to draw audiences into an intimate, emotionally resonant live experience. Blending contemporary jazz sensibility with lyrical storytelling and improvisational freedom, she creates performances that feel spontaneous, engaging, and deeply human, connecting effortlessly with both dedicated jazz listeners and wider festival audiences.

Her debut album All My Treasures (2016) introduced a distinctive interpretive voice and earned her a finalist place in the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. With Dream Away (2021), she moved further into original composition and collaborative writing, shaping a sound rooted in melodic clarity, subtle rhythmic interplay, and modern harmonic colour. The album was named one of the Top Ten of the Year by Bebop Spoken Here.
Her third release, Tide Rises (Mighty Quinn Records), premiered to a sold-out audience at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and marked a deepening artistic identity. Featuring harmonically rich arrangements by Liam Dunachie alongside Bush’s own compositions, the project balances sophistication with immediacy, later ranking No. 2 in Bebop Spoken Here’s annual Top Ten.

Recent performances across Germany, and Belgium in 2024, Ireland (2024 and 2026) were followed by a 10-date Canadian tour in 2025, including the Markham Jazz Festival.
